Bringing the Past to Life
An Emmy- and BAFTA-nominated documentary producer, Neil has spent more than three decades making history, archaeology and science television for National Geographic, the BBC, PBS, History, Discovery Channel and other international broadcasters.
His work spans ancient civilizations, human origins, exploration and some of history’s greatest mysteries. Filming in more than seventy countries, he has worked alongside archaeologists, historians, scientists and explorers to turn their research and discoveries into compelling television.
Neil develops, writes and produces television, working as a documentary producer, executive producer and showrunner, as well as on-camera talent and an expert contributor.

The Stories History Left Untold
After decades bringing history to television, Neil began having a little more fun with it.
His Prime Time Travelers novels send a documentary television crew back in time to investigate mysteries the historical record never quite resolved — uncovering forgotten lives, lost love stories and LGBTQ+ histories along the way, with frequently disastrous results.
Blending historical fiction, time travel, comedy, adventure and queer history, the series has taken readers to ancient Egypt, Pompeii and Troy — with more journeys into the past to come.

Drawing on more than thirty years of documentary production, archaeology, ancient history and travel, Neil brings stories from behind the discoveries — and behind the camera — to audiences around the world.
He currently lectures aboard international cruise lines and is available for cruise speaking, guest lectures, keynote speaking, conferences and events.
